Hello! I’m Sophia, the owner + artist behind Querida & Co. My love for making and selling accessories dates back nearly 15 years. At the time, I was a fourth grader selling handmade headbands, bows, and bracelets out of a briefcase in the school restroom. This, however, is a story for another time.

Growing up as a first generation Mexican-American, my family would write lots and LOTS of letters. The majority of which began with the word ‘querida,’ meaning dear in Spanish. The women in my family have contributed greatly to my creative nature and entrepreneurial spirit. It is for this reason that I pay homage to them through my business's name.
